Leonardo DiCaprio’s Winslet Pal

Leonardo DiCaprio claims his Titanic and Revolutionary Road co-star Kate Winslet is one of his ”dearest” friends.

Leonardo DiCaprio remains close to Kate Winslet.

The 35-year-old actor, who first worked with Kate on 1997 blockbuster movie Titanic, admitted the film had a profound effect on both of them because of the media attention it heaped on them.

He said: “It wasn’t the era of penetrating internet paparazzi that we have now. But my name wasn’t me anymore. I was sort of this thing.

“Kate felt it too. But a lot of the attention was on me because of the teenage girls who repeatedly went to see the movie. I had the blond hair, and I was Jack Dawson, this heroic figure.”

Despite having to act out a sex scene in their second movie together, Revolutionary Road, in front of Kate’s director husband Sam Mendes, Leonardo said it wasn’t hard to do.

He told Esquire magazine: “Kate Winslet is one of my dearest friends. We have the ultimate trust in each other and the best of intentions for what we want to do. I knew Kate before Sam Mendes even met her.

“So on the outside, it may seem strange to do a sex scene with a woman while her husband is directing. But it didn’t feel that way to me.”

Soderbergh’s “Contagion” Infects Matt Damon, Kate Winslet

A sneeze launched on the set of The Informant! has forced Stephen Soderbergh to clear his calendar and make way for the resulting Contagion, which has attracted the likes of Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Marion Cotillard.

The four are set to star in Sodergbergh’s new film from a script by Informant screenwriter Scott Z. Burns, in which the “nature of a virus (is) used to deal with ‘issues of sovereignty’ and as a metaphor for the way ‘information and misinformation travel’ in contemporary society,” The Playlist reported last fall.

Organizing things for the ultimate comeback!

Hi guys,

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to fulfill my promise about the December updates.

Anyway, for the past couple of weeks I’ve been gathering and organizing stuff from late September up to the present moment and hope to be catching up on the site before the Oscars.

I’ve got hundreds of new photos, videos, scans, etc. So once again I’m sorry for not updating, but my job consists of taking care of over 300 abandoned cats and rescuing some from the streets. So by that, you can only imagine how time consuming it is! :)

That’s it for now. See you guys by March-ish!

Comment and let me know what you most want to see on KWF!

Take care,
Roberta

Follow me on twitter if you want. :)

Quick edit: I’ve just created KWF’s twitter as well. ;)

Anyway, I HAVE NOT abandoned this site nor intend to, just please understand that I’ve got other things to be working with. I promise that come this December I’ll start updating the site again and bring some old stuff too.

Please try to understand. I love this site as much as you guys do and I just want to thank everyone of you who has been worrying about me. I’m okay, just way too busy with other things.

KWF is coming back soon!!! :D
