Rocknroll new romance for Kate Winslet!

The Oscar winning actress, 35, is dating Richard Branson’s nephew Ned Abel Smith — a.k.a. Ned Rocknroll — a source confirms to Us Weekly.

The duo arrived together at last Tuesday’s memorial service for Ted Branson (Richard Branson’s father) at the Royal Geographical Society in London. The Daily Mail reports that Ned, 33, legally changed his name to “Ned Rocknroll” several years back, and recently separated from his wife Eliza, the daughter of a British viscount.

“Ned is really happy with Kate,” the source tells Us, adding that the couple are currently spending a romantic weekend in the English countryside. Mildred Pierce star Winslet is “mature and has it all together,” the source explains. “[Ned] feels he can learn so much from her. It’s sexy — a boy toy situation!”

An old friend of the Branson family, Winslet was famously a guest on Richard Branson’s private Necker Island in late August when the house she was staying in caught fire; Winslet ended up carrying Eve, Branson’s elderly mother, out of the burning building.

Winslet wasn’t a solo visitor during her momentous Necker Island stay. In addition to her kids Mia, 10, and Joe, 7, the star’s fellow guest was Louis Dowler, her on-and-off model beau.

No word yet on exactly when Winslet and Dowler parted ways.

Some news concerning the Golden Hat Foundation, the association which Kate created to help autistic children. First of all, here is exclusively the coverage of the book which will unite the photographs of numerous stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Meryl Streep, Christina Aguilera, Angelina Jolie, Ellen Page, Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, Jude Law, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and many others. The launch of the book is due April 2012.

I also added screen captures of Kate’s interview in which she speaks about her foundation and about the support of Lancôme (which will take out a special range of making-up some time in November 2011, which benefits will go to the Golden Hat Foundation). Video is available in the sidebar.

Richard Branson’s nephew Ned Rocknroll has revealed that he is “totally smitten” by Kate Winslet.

The 33-year-old also admitted that he can’t get enough of the 35-year-old Titanic star’s curvy figure.

“When he met Kate he realized she was a real grown up and was attracted to her maturity,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“He also liked the fact she was a little bit older. He finds her incredibly sexy,” the source stated.

Winslet cozied up to Rocknroll while staying at the Virgin tycoon Branson’s Caribbean holiday island of Necker and the two were recently pictured sharing a joke together in Central London.

Sources have revealed that twice-wed Winslet’s pals have “never seen her so happy”.

The statue will be unveiled in November at Madame Tussauds

Kate Winslet is to get her own waxwork.

The figurine of the actress is being worked on now, ready to be shown to the public in November at London’s wax museum.

The waxwork will be dressed in a red and black gown and Winslet will be given Hollywood windswept hair.

“Kate is a true English Rose and we’re delighted to be creating a figure of her.” said Madame Tussauds’ spokesperson Liz Edwards.

Making the trip across the pond to Mother England, Kate Winslet was spotted arriving at London’s Heathrow Airport yesterday, September 20.

The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind actress looked to be in good spirits as she made her exit sporting sunglasses, a black jacket, and a grey scarf.

Winslet was in the States to pick up her Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her role in Mildred Pierce.

During the Emmys, Kate’s costar Guy Pearce won Best Supporting Actor and told the audience, “This was really a delightful experience making Mildred Pierce I got to have sex with Kate Winslet many, many times. And I didn’t realize it was going to result in this, so Kate I share this with you because you’re an extraordinary woman, thank you, for allowing me to insert myself into your world of Mildred.”

After the speech, Kate gushed, “I was thrilled! I’ve had a crush on Guy Pearce since I was 11 years old, so just to stand in the same room as him was thrilling for me and to hear him say that was even more of a buzz.”
