Heads up for the Screen Actors Guild Awards to be telecast live this Sunday, January 28, at 8 pm ET/PT on TNT and TBS.
Kate is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Jackie Earle Haley is up for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role, for Little Children.
I’d appreciate it if anyone who can record the show would contribute with videos of Kate since where I live they put voice-over simultaneous translation. Thanks in advance! :)

Kate’s meeting project
A fellow Kate fan and current visitor of the site and forums (who, for now, would like to stay “anonymous”) has a proposal to give Kate our support as they will try and meet with her on this year’s Oscar Nominee Luncheon on February 5th. They write:
“I am going to the Oscar nominee luncheon and would like to bring something to Kate that shows our support. I was thinking a fanart or card that said ‘You will always be our Best Actress’ or something to that effect. I don’t want to be in charge of creating it, I just want to throw it out there as an idea for anyone who thinks they can make something really nice that I could just print as an 8×10 and give to her. I’d like it to be a collage that has photos of her from every nominated performance or maybe all of her most significant performances.”

Kate’s reactions to the Oscar nomination
“I’ve been laughing, crying, hollering, whooping and leaping around”, Little Children star Kate Winslet said.”My husband, Sam [Mendes], called me. He’s in London, I’m in New York. I had just dropped my daughter at school and I was taking my son. There was some serious fist pumping, pounding the ceiling of the car.”
“This isn’t supposed to happen to a girl who grew up in a tiny town. I was told the only way I’d have a career as an actress would be if I could settle for playing fat girls.”
And what did Winslet have to say about co-star Jackie Earle Haley’s nod?
“It’s not just a whole new career, it’s a whole new life. It’s gonna change him and his self esteem.”
