One of the reasons why we adore Kate Winslet is that she seems so, well, normal!
And here she is, doing a very normal “mom” thing, running on the streets of New York to keep up with her son Joe, who’s paying more attention to a Pokémon book than his mom!

Kate Winslet and her husband Sam Mendes (at location but not pictured in frame) were seen meeting some friends in Times Square on Kate’s 33rd Birthday! The reception was very warm as Kate and Sam embraced and smiled happily to see the group anxiously awaiting the Birthday Girl and her husband!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR KATE!!!
Taking a page out of Heidi Klum’s mothering book, Kate Winslet was spotted picking up her daughter Mia from school yesterday, along with her ex-husband Jim Threapleton.
The Titanic actress looked blissful as she walked around New York City with her daughter on one side, and her son on the other.
As for her new movie Revolutionary Road, slated for a Christmas release, Winslet’s co-star Leonardo DiCaprio told FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay he couldn’t resist working with Kate again.
“We have remained the closest of friends — she is the best actress of our generation. I knew we could push each other’s buttons performance-wise, so I jumped at the opportunity to work with Kate again. We’ve known each other since we were basically teens.”
