Kate Winslet’s Carboard Citizens Dinner

They make loads of money and live in the lap of luxury, so it’s always nice to see celebrities giving back to the community and helping the less-fortunate. And Kate Winslet showed her charitable colors last night at the Cardboard Citizens Dinner.

The event was held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in England’s capital city of London. And this British babe was turning heads everywhere she went.

Kate opted for an ultra-chic all-black ensemble, including a silky black shirt, complete with neckerchief, and slim-fit black trousers.

As for the cause she was supporting, Cardboard Citizens (formed in 1991) is the UK’s only homeless people’s professional theater company and the leading practitioner of Forum Theater in the UK. They work with people who have experience of, or who are at risk of, becoming homeless.

  1. I am so proud that she is doinf this. I love her pants, hair and boots but not her top….but she is still beautiful!!!

  2. actually, she wore a beautiful red Vivienne Westwood dress to the function and it was auctioned off for $40,000. Presumably, the buyer took it home and she changed in to the black outfit she’s wearing on the way out.
