Kate Winslet picked up a coffee and a bite yesterday morning in London after touching down in England yesterday with her new guy. Kate has been seeing Virgin mogul Richard Branson’s nephew, Ned Rocknroll, and the pair headed to Europe after a stint in New Mexico at the start of the week. Kate and Ned helped unveil Virgin Galactic’s runway in the desert, marking the launch of Spaceport America, the division of Virgin that employs Ned. Kate, who celebrated her 36th birthday earlier this month, split from her husband Sam Mendes last year but seems hopeful about her romantic future. Kate recently told Harper’s Bazaar she was looking forward to starting a “new narrative” in her life. Ned is the second man Kate has been linked to since her divorce — previously, she dated model Louis Dowler.

Kate Winslet touched down at London’s Heathrow Airport late the day before yesterday, October 19, with her new beau Ned Rocknroll. The pair are quickly racking up their frequent flier miles on his uncle Richard Branson’s Virgin Airlines with recent romantic stops in California and New Mexico. Earlier this week Kate traveled with Ned to the States for the unveiling of Virgin Galaxy’s swanky new multimillion-dollar runway. The airline plans to launch customers into orbit next year at the asking price of $200,000 for a round-trip ticket. Kate may not be booking her flight into space for early next year, as she’ll likely be on hand for January’s Golden Globe ceremony. Kate took home the Emmy last month for her starring role in the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce and she could be a best actress contender during the upcoming award season.

Looks like she’s part of the family!

Kate Winslet was on the arm of her new boyfriend, Ned Rocknroll, at Monday’s (October 17) grand opening of his uncle Richard Branson’s commercial spaceport in New Mexico.

The couple, who have been linked since meeting in August at Branson’s Necker Island home, were photographed at the opening ceremony, during which Branson repelled from a balcony and swigged champagne, the Associated Press reports.

The British billionaire was launching Spaceport America in a remote New Mexico desert. It’s the site from which he plans to stage his commercial space tourism venture, Virgin Galactic, which employs Ned.

Winslet, 35, and Rocknroll, who legally changed his name from Ned Abel Smith, 33, also have been spotted together in London.
