Kate Winslet was spotted as she picked up her 7-year-old son Joe after school in New York City yesterday, May 10.
The two then patiently tried to hail a cab, until one showed up to take them where they wanted to go. Because who wouldn’t stop for Kate Winslet?
The Revolutionary Road actress recently talked about her life after splitting with Sam Mendes. “I’ve never been lonely,” she said. “And with my kids… that remains the case. But to be in this place where I can say I really like this space. I really need to not have anyone around. It’s a surprise to discover that I like being on my own.”

These are really lovely candids of Kate and Jioe. What an inspiration Kate is in everything she does and it cant be easy im sure to talk about some of these things.
Kate certainly right: after the birth of children a woman can not feel lonely, no matter what happens in her personal life.
