Since the announcement of Kate Winslet’s split from her husband Sam Mendes, we’ve noticed her name has been removed from her NYC film premiere Monday.
Kate was originally listed as an attendee of the NYC premiere on March 22 of A Mother’s Courage: Talking Back to Autism (aka The Sunshine Boy), for which she narrated, but her name has since been removed.
The award-winning actress announced her split from husband of nearly seven years in a statement through their lawyers Monday.
The documentary film, narrated by Kate, follows an Icelandic mother who travels to the U.S. to research new therapies for her 10-year-old son Keli’s who is severely autistic.
The film debuts on World Autism Awareness Day, April 2, on HBO.
Some more pics from this and last year’s Oscars. At the 2009 Oscars pics, Kate is seem talking with husband Sam Mendes and fellow nominee Angelina Jolie and posing with Best Actor winner Sean Penn and past winner actresses Halle Berry and Marion Cotillard.
Added the last Oscar pics from this year. We now have over 300 HQ pics! :D We here have Kate posing with Best Actor winner Jeff Bridges, last year’s winner Sean Penn, John Travolta and also having a small chat with actress Charlize Theron during one of the show’s break.
And it seems that our girl was in a hurry as she was briefly seen at the LAX airport right after the ceremony, probably heading back to her home town in NYC:

Kate Winslet was a bulldozer for Oscar winner Jeff Bridges. The actress, a winner last year for The Reader, presented Bridges with his Crazy Heart trophy and pulled him backstage, waving aside stagehands and declaring Bridges needed the place “to say other stuff, to thank the people he didn’t thank out there.”
She was referring to the academy’s thank-you cam, an Internet-only camera that records winners’ voluminous lists of names of people who need to be mentioned but were left out onstage. It’s meant to encourage winners to give more heartfelt speeches rather than read a litany of managers, agents, lawyers, friends and family.
“And here,” Winslet said, thrusting the open envelope with his name into his hands, “don’t lose this!”
Clearly, her take-charge attitude came from being a veteran.
Kate Winslet hits the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars held at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday (March 7) in Hollywood.
The 34-year-old The Reader actress wore a stunning strapless Yves Saint Laurent creation paired with a $2.5 million yellow diamond necklace by Tiffany & Co.
Kate Winslet, a familiar face at award shows lately was on stage today at the Kodak Theater. Requiring actors and actresses to walk through their announcement speeches at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, the actress was on hand with the stage manager going through her part of the Oscars.
Considered the biggest award show in the world, the Oscars have gone over every angle to make the best possible production tomorrow night. Rehearsing the entire performance before the big night, the entire cast and crew was in Hollywood one final time for the perfection needed.
